The determined titer at 20°C was 1.000 with an expanded measurement uncertainty of ± 0.004 (k=2 coverage factor for 95% coverage probility). The certified value is traceable to primary standard NIST SRM 136f (NIST: National Institute of Standards and Technology, USA) by means of volumetric standard potassium iodate, measured in the accredited calibration laboratory of Merck KGaA in accordance to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025.
